Using hand gestures when you speak is a very effective way to enrich your communication but we don’t always know how many to use.
Try this fun exercise to find the right amount of hand gestures for you when you speak in public:
First, read aloud the following passage with your hands held behind your back so you make no hand gestures:
“Hello! My name is (Your first and last name) and today I want to talk with you about something profoundly powerful yet often underestimated: our voices. Our voices are not just a means of communication but tools of influence, change, and connection.”
